In the Browser
- Log into Office 365 with your VSB email
- Locate your file
A) If you have worked on it recently, find the Recent Section on the Office 365 landing page and skip to Step 4
OR
B) If you have not worked on them, then navigate to your file, open the file and continue to Step 3 - click on "Office 365 " from the Quick App Launcher to return to your Office 365 landing page
- Hover over the file and click on the pin icon to the right of the file name
- Now your file is accessible under the Pinned Section
In the Microsoft Office Suite Desktop Tools
Please note: screenshots may vary slightly depending on whether you have the latest Office Suites, but the steps will be similar.
- Click the Microsoft Office Suite tool (ex. Word) on your computer
- Locate your file
A) If you have worked on it recently, look through the Recent sections on the tool home and skip to Step 4
OR
B) If you have not worked on them, then navigate to your file, open it and then continue to Step 3 - Click on File > then the Home icon and you should see it under the Recent section
- Hover over the file and click on the pin icon to the right at the end of the row
- Now your file is accessible under the Pinned Section
In the Microsoft Office Suite Mobile Apps
Please note: screenshots may vary slightly depending on the type of tablet or mobile devices, but the steps will be similar.
- Click on the Microsoft Office Suite Mobile App on your tablet or mobile phone
- Locate your file
A) If you have worked on it recently, look through the Recent section of the app and then skip to Step 4
OR
B) If you have not worked on them, click on Open icon, find and open the file once, and close it
- Click on the Recent icon to return to the list of Documents
- Click on the " " to the right of the file name and select Pin to List
- Now your file is accessible under the Pinned Section
